Survey of congestion control in TCP protocol

Congestion control in TCP and its improved protocols are analyzed.Improved TCP protocol can be divided into three groups according to modification of congestion window,namely feedback based on packet dropping,feedback based on path delay and explicit feedback and bandwidth measurement.Furthermore,TCP in wireless network is discussed according to properties of wireless network.Some representative algorithms are analyzed thoroughly;their advantages and disadvantages are summarized.Finally,some research topics are given.
