Brief introduction and applying potential analysis of rough set theory in the electric power station field

in this paper, the basic concepts of rough set theory are introduced. The rough theory's characteristics and researching direction are analyzed. For the first time,the rough set theory is applied in the production of (electric) power stations. Especially the applying potential and general solution with rough set for electric power (station) products' market location analysis, rough controlling of the voltage-adjuster used in this power stations, (relation) analysis of the product design, fault diagnosis, knowledge discovery from the maintenance,etc.And by this approach,(a new) solution idea is put forward for the traditional decision-making and controlling.
