On the Study of Sentence Semantics

The paper analyses tense,aspect,voice and mood,situation types,participants and thematic roles,and sentence meaning in sentence semantics,suggesting that tense,aspect,voice and mood should be studied across languages,situation types be studied in combination with the meanings of verbs and tense and aspect,thematic roles play some roles in analyzing sentence meaning,but meet some challenges.Finally,the paper points out that the study of sentence meaning should be formalized in combination with natural languages and a way to disambiguate should be found.
