An improved algorithm for ontology concept similarity computing

Research on concept similarity is very important in knowledge representation and information retrieval.According to the complex relationships of concepts,the ontology structure can be seen as a non-loop directed graph.Considering all kinds of factors affecting the weight of edge from many perspectives,we gained the semantic distance of arbitrary two concepts by computing the weight of the directed edge in ontology level graph.In this way,the semantic similarity of them was obtained.The experiment result shows that this method is effective.
