Analysis of StackGuard for Detection and Prevention of Buffer Overflow Attacks

The paper analyses how crackers or hackers implement buffer overflow attacks,and then analyzes the mechanism of stackguard in detail.In the end,the paper puts forward two buffer overflow attacks which stackguard can't detect and prevent, and analyzes the cause by a available example.
