Energy Efficient MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network

In view of Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) in hidden terminal and delay question,a kind of progressive MAC protocol based on power control is proposed.The node on the basis of the SMAC protocol through the power control algorithm in each node to save power scale dynamically selects the appropriate power value as part of its transmission power,thus avoids the hidden terminal and delay question.Simulation result shows that compared with SMAC protocol,the improved protocol improves the network throughput,and reduces the source node to destination node of the end to end delay.
