Decentralized Adaptive Fuzzy Control forLarge-Scale Nonlinear Systems
Tianping Zhang · Control theory & applications · 1996
A systematic methodology to the design of a decentralized adaptive fuzzy controller forlarge-scale nonlinear systems is proposed in this paper. The design is based on the approximation capabilityof fuzzy systems. The control architecture employs decentralized fuzzy systems to compensate adaptivelyfor plant uncertainties, and replacing sign function in the conventional variable structure control with thefuzzy controller output. By using the Lyapunov theory, the algorithm is proven to be globally stable, withtracking errors converging to a neighborhood of zero.
