Investigation and Implementation of Embedded File System Technology for Space Application
Yong Liu · Spacecraft Engineering · 2007
A file system used for space application is designed. To meet the needs of space application, we adopt B+-tree to manage files and chain blocks to manage meta-data, and have developed a low resource occupied memory's allocation and callback mechanism. By comparing with the other generic embedded file system, we resolved the problems on average erasure and memory use efficiency, which the flash memory chip of NAND type usually met in space application, and well supported onboard-data file management and reliable transmission.
