Implementation and Performance of the Mechanism of Data Encapsulation Based on J2EE

In this paper,Facade design pattern is first introduced for the development of applications based on J2EE,and the remote call under the J2EE architecture is analyzed.The implementation of EDT(encapsulated data type)is described.Then,according to a real business specification,the application of EDT is depicted in detail,which is followed by a comparison of the performance in the two situations,using EDT and not using EDT.The results show that the performance using EDT is much better.Moreover,with the increase of the number of fields in the database table,the mentioned superiority in performance is also increasing,and there seems to be a kind of linear relation.
