A Discourse Deviation Study Based on Ostman's Construction Discourse Conception

This paper first elaborates the ideas of construction (CD) initiated by Ostman,then it justifies the framework of construction grammar(DCG) by incorporating the concepts of genre,register,information structure and cohesion from Systemic Functional Grammar into CD.Under DCG,this study analyzes the construction coercion phenomena or what Stockwell calls discourse deviation,in mixed genre,idiom parody and the now prevalent microblog templatic parody.This kind of work extends the range of concerns of construction grammar from syntactic level to textual level.This study also provides new dimensions to the study of cognitive poetics and intertextuality.
