A Blind Demodulation Algorithm for MFSK Signal Based on Wavelet Transform

The paper proposes a blind demodulation algorithm based on wavelet transform which demodulates MFSK(M-ary frequency shift keying)signal without any prior information.According to relationship between the values of morlet's wavelet ridges and MFSK symbols,the wavelet ridge extraction,symbol rate estimation,clock synchronization,modulation level identification and symbol identification are accomplished simultaneously in this algorithm.Simulation results demonstrate that the performance degradation of the blind demodulation is only about 0.1 dB and 1 dB for 2FSK and 4FSK signals,respectively,with respect to the theory bound.
