Dynamic Flexible Workflow Management System Based on Middleware Technology

A prototype system that realize the dynamic flexibility based on the Middleware technology and the object-oriented concept is introduced. The prototype system is based on C/S architecture and Java lanauage. In the system, client computers are distributed on the local network and have their own IP addresses. The distributed workflow engine can not only schedule business processes to execute according to the defined model, but also dynamically adjust the executing paths in accordance with the updated model to meet the emergent events. All of business tasks flexibly cooperate to fulfil the common target under the controlling of the distributed workflow engine.
