Application of DDN in Guangdong Digital Telemetry Seismographic Network

DDN has been used to transfer seismic data more than three years as a telegraphy approach transfering the digital real-time in Guangdong Digital Telemetry Seismographic Network. In this paper, we introduce the characteristics of DDN, and summarize the DDN-using experience, including the installation and the maintenance. We also introduce the new digital communication technology.
