Method of multi-attribute decision making on linguistic interval information

A new method for calculating multi-attribute decision making on linguistic interval information is given.The fundamental ideas are as follows.Firstly,fuzzy sets are used to stand for the linguistic scale in linguistic intervals.Then the above linguistic intervals are transformed into interval numbers by the methods of defuzzifying.Finally,already existed approaches for multi-attribute decision making with interval numbers information are used to make decision.A practical example is provided to illustrate the operation and show the effectiveness of this method.
