Discussion on Heuristic Teaching in Operating System Taking Load Balance and Data Cache as Examples

Since there exist many cases of irrigating knowledge in traditional teaching in operating system and impacts of multi-core environments in computers,based on the analysis of process scheduling in multi-cores environments,starts from simple questions under multi-core situation and promotes the system performance by proposing mechanisms of load balance and increasing numbers and capacities of cache to improve data hit rate.Connecting real problems with students' learning new knowledge,analyzes the process scheduling of OS in multi-cores environments in a fashion of heuristic teaching case and leads students from simple questions to a deep phase.
