Construction of α-band multi-wavelet by using DGHM multi-wavelet filter

Using DGHM multi-wavelet filter,this paper obtained a new matrix(-CQF) by a method that increase its length towith supplementing the zero-matrix.A novel transformation of matrix filter was introduced.In comparison with the traditional methods,the order of some polynomial ma-trices need not be decreased row by row and the polyphase matrix need not be factorized into a special form.Furthermore,this method was not restricted by the length of the filter.Therefore,an algorithm was presented in this paper for constructing-band orthogonal multiwavelets from the as-sociated multi-scaling function.
