A SURVEY OF RELATIONAL DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RDBMS) ON MICROCOMPUTERS

This paper presents an overview of some major relational database management systems RDBMSs on microcomputers. Microcomputer RDBMSs are mostly oriented to casual end users and single user applications, rather than to programmers, so they have relatively better online query, help facilities, and report generator, while pay less attention to others such as Security, recovery, etc.
