Design and implementation of interactive segmentation system of CT medical image sequence

Interactive medical image segmentation plays an important role for the extraction and analysis of normal and diseased tissue.Based on similarity and continuity of adjacent images in CT image sequence,the paper designs and develops an interactive medical image segmentation system with a combination of wavelet modulus maximum,edge detection method and interactive contour approximation.The system has enhanced medical image automated segmentation and achieved good segmentation results.
