Research progress and development trend on sweet corn cultivation technique in Guangdong province

The research progress on new variety breeding,physiology in high yield cultivation technology,nutritional quality,rational fertilization,cultivation technique and industrial technology system were reviewed in this paper.Four assumptions were put forward.One was to strengthen the research on germplasm,cultivation physiology and new variety breeding;the second was to enhance the research on the fine variety breeding,variety quality and the service life of new variety;the third was to strengthen the study on the system for high quality,high yield and peripherality production technology,meeting the needs of the sweet corn;the last was to enhance the construction of integrative management of production,supply and marketing,to get higher economy benefit.
