Algorithm of eye location in face recognition

The eyes’ gray degree varies distinctly. This paper presents a new algorithm to locate eyes based on features of gray degree. First,the algorithm divides the search region into small plots and computes the complexity degrees respectively. Then,16 plots are chosen with the most complexity degrees. Finally,the algorithm locates the precise positions of the eyes by computing the center degree of structure. Compared with other algorithms,this algorithm has many features such as precise positioning and enhanced efficiency.
