Girth and fractional chromatic number of outer planar graphs

The relation between the girth and the fractional chromatic number of outer planar graphs is studied, and an upper bound of fractional chromatic number of outer planar graphs is given. For any fixed girth g, let f0(g) be the supremum of the fractional chromatic number of outer planar graphs with that girth.If n is a positive integer, it holds that f0(2n)=f0(2n+1)=2+1/n.
