Design for RSVP Architecture Based on Active Network

Novel applications over IP network present new and different requirement on Quality of Service (QoS) of the network. QoS mechanism beyond 3Best-Effort should be provided. Based on analysis of current QoS models, a new QoS architecture based on the active network is put forward. According to the IntServ QoS model, an active node model supporting dynamic RSVP deployment is presented.
