An Improved Sine-Wave Fitting Procedure to Estimate Delay between Channels in Data Acquisition System

Counting on the deficiency in sine-wave fitting method,this paper introduces an original method,multi-harmonic sine-wave fitting,to estimate delays between channels in synchronous data acquisition system.This paper also includes following contents:the source of error in estimation process,computer simulation about estimation process,and sine signal′s initial phase estimation accuracy discussion according to these two methods.Simulation results prove that multi-harmonic sine wave fitting method had better measurement precision and relaxed source harmonic distortion and frequency error requirements.
