Application and Development of Remote Medical Services

The remote medical services is the integration of computer network,modern communication technology and modern medical technology.It provides the storage and transmission between different locations of images,sounds,file,data and other medical activities by using the communication and information processing technology.The remote medical services include remote diagnosis,remote consultation,consulting and nursing,remote education,remote medical information service and other medical activities.It can provide a quick,convenient,efficient and economic health service for patients.The patient can choose the experts in a remote city to receive the diagnosis or treatment.This paper will introduce the present situation of the remote medical services and the problems existed in the actual application.The paper also prospects the future development of remote medical services.
