Geography information system software named SK set V4.0 for Windows is successfully developed by GIS Center, Institute of Karst Geology, CAGS in April 2001. It is professional GIS software that we own the independence in copyright. It integrates multiple advanced techniques, such as groupware, control unit, Object Oriented. It uses Borland C Builder Software developed by Inprise Company in USA as compiler flat, and also provides the simple Chinese menu. So, it not only possesses many functions in basic information and multi map layers inquiry, correlative analysis, dynamic observation, multi factor analysis, image edit, auto demo, system management, but also possesses quick toolbox, friendly dialog box and the mightier function for error correction. It is very useful for the county city governments that are in need of professional GIS staff. In this document we take Yanhe County resource remote sensing Information system in Guizhou Province as an example to describe the functions and the usage of the SK set V4.0 for Windows.
