Digital Video Watermarking Algorithm based on H.264 Bitstream

With wide application of digital video watermarking technology in the copy-right protection of video information,a digital video watermarking scheme based on H.264 bitstream is proposed.Based on the idea of part decoding in classical HG algorithm,a proper 4×4 block in each macroblock is selected in accordance with the texture parameters of the complexity and the direction of in-frame prediction.And also based on the characteristics of DCT coefficients,a middle frequency coefficient of the 4 × 4 block is selected and embedded in the watermark.In combination of the usually-used built-in watermark embedding method and by modulating parity of a middle frequency coefficient in DCT coefficients,relationship,the embedment of watermark embedded in I-frame is completed.Test on standard video sequence indicates the feasibility of the proposed algorithm based on H.264 standard.
