A STUDY OF THE MANUSCRIPT SOURCES OF NON-CORE UNIVERSITY JOURNALS

At present,many non-core ordinary university journals face the problem of rising quantity but falling quality of the manuscript sources.Various reasons contribute to this situation.Viewed from the shallow level,the problem lies in both the author and the university journal.Viewed from the deep level,the problem lies in the unreasonable mechanism of personnel training,selecting,inspecting and appraising.Solving these problems needs the attention and support of the university leaders as well as the unceasing effort made by the university journal itself.
