One resolution of oil painting rendering and the implementation on FPGA

Most NPR algorithms are based on flitering operation,edge detection and feature extraction operation.They require the processing of large amount of data and are usually multiplication and addition.FPGA show the obvious advantages in these operations.In this paper,we present a method for generating kinds of oil paintings and implement it on the platform RC200.
