Analysis of Enterprise IRM in Social Transformation Age——A Case of Three Enterprises

In social transformation age,information resources management(IRM) has become an important means to gain competitive advantage.At first,this paper selects three companies as the object of case study and sums up the status of the three companies' IRM based on information resources' seven elements.Secondly,it finds problems of enterprise IRM on strategic planning,system,information literacy,standardization,efficiency and funding.At last,countermeasures are put forward to improve the IRM level with integrating IRM plan into the overall strategy of enterprises,standardizing enterprise information resource management,enhancing the information competency of the enterprise,improving the CIO mechanisms,introducing and training of personnel,and improving fund usage.
