Fault Diagnosis of Diesel Engine by Integrating Rough Sets and Evidence Theory of Chu Spaces
Xisen Wen · Transactions of Csice · 2007
Evidence theory is a powerful tool in handling uncertainty problem, but it relies on the evidences from the experts and requires the independence of these evidences and makes it difficult in application.Rough sets theory is used to simplify the the parameters.Chu Spaces provide a general algebraic framework and is new approach in diagnosing information integration. For this purpose, the relationship between rough sets and evidence theory is discussed, and a combined method for fault diagnosis strategy is proposed.Diagnosis in a diesel engine shows that combination of rough sets with evidence theory gives good result in fault diagnosis.
