The necessity of equal potential connection is discussed,combined with the new national standard(02D501-2).The effectiveness and the installation codes are clarified by calculation.For the present international popular mode of equal potential connection,Faraday's cage,the faults that occur in equal potential connection easily and the prevention measures are pointed out for designer's reference.
