Along with the development of nuclear power industry,more and more plants are to be con- structed.For the purpose of better protection,to estimate the influence of nuclear power plants upon the around environment and community,that is,environmental radiation monitoring,is very necessary.In the paper,the aim and items of environmental radiation monitoring for nuclear power plants,and the methods used,are introduced.
