Studies on seismic reduction of multistory building using LRB to add stores

In this paper,the seismic reduction of multistory frame building using LRB to add stores was studied.A structure subjected to three kinds of earthquake excitations was analyzed respectively with non liner analysis of response history in many cases.The result indicated that using LRB to add stories is an effective measure for reducing the earthquake response of a structure.
