Status Quo and Development of Virtual Crop Research

The research of the virtual crop is an important aspect of agricultural information technology research,it is the latest development of computer information technology and agricultural science penetrated application and the improvement of crop growth simulation model research.In this article,based on the notion of the virtual crop,the main techniques and methods of virtual crop research,the current situation,existent difficulties and problems in virtual crop research and application at abroad and home are summarized.At last,the application prospects of the virtual crop are discussed.
