A Key Agreement Scheme Based on Servers Group
Bo Gao · Communications technology · 2010
Group key agreement is a very important basic tool in group communication.Available group key agreement schemes based on clients require each group member to participate in group key agreement, thus seriously constraining scalability and efficiency of the secure group communication system. In the light of this situation,a group key agreement scheme based on servers is developed to improve the poor scalability and efficiency of the secure group communication system. In this scheme, key agreement is completed by servers, and this scheme only requires direct connection to each group member, thus effectively reducing the storage and communication cost of the group. In addition,an one-way mapping mechanism from server keys to group keys is designed in client function library. As compared with key agreement mechanism based on client, this mechanism makes a great progress in security and efficiency.
