A Study of Dynamic Reservation Call Admission Control Algorithm in 3G

The third generation mobile communication technology supports multimedia services of various quality of service (QoS),and the call admission control (CAC) technology is one of the key technologies in mobile communication.In this paper,a dynamic reservation call admission control algorithm is proposed,which forecast the channel number of each required service in the light of the traffic in the cell,some channels are thus reserved for handover services and new services.As compared to the new call bounding control algorithm and interrupt propriety algorithm,this dynamic reservation call admission control algorithm has a better performance in terms of decreasing call blocking rates and dropping rates in voice and data services,and is an ideal call admission control algorithm is more feasible.
