The Research on Image Enhancement Algorithm in Dense Tissue Image

The patients of breast cancer are tending to youth by youth in recent years.The young women's breast is mainly dense tissues.Because of dense tissue displays with the high luminance effect in mammography,it is usually mistaken for the microcalcification.This article,aiming at these images,proposes a new kind of image enhancement algorithm.The experiment shows that the algorithm can improve CAD system performance and better detect microcalcifications in dense breast tissue images.
