Methods Improving for Fractal Image Compression Based on Tolerance Rough Sets

This article first analyzes the performance flaw of the image fractal compression technology and traditional accelerate method , Afterwards proposed the related theory of the tolenrance rough sets , and has proven the completeness that the tolenrance rough sets theory applicated in image fractal compression technology . This article has produced the improvement algorithm of the code dictio- nary and the algorithm of the accelerate matching process based on the tolenrance rough sets. The experimental result showed that, this method in aspect and the traditional method comparison and so on compression quality, compression ratio, time of compression all has the distinct improvement.
