A Study on GIS Components and it's Application in PSGIS

By putting forward the questions which exits in traditional GIS application system development, this paper introduces the characteristics of GIS components when used to develop application system It also introduces the GIS components' practical application in PSGIS, with MapX (the component product of MapInfo)as an example.
