Design of a small step and frequency agility synthesizer in L band

A modular frequency synthesizer with small step and frequency agility in L band is introduced.It adopts the Direct Digital frequency Synthesizer(DDS) to realize small step,utilizes upfrequency converter plus doubler to spread the bandwidth.Subsequently,the frequency scheme and function modules are specified,the key specifications are analyzed,and the testing result is presented.The frequency synthesizer has achieved small stepping of 100 Hz,with its spur suppression exceeding 65 dBc,and the frequency hopping time less than 1 μs.
