The Research of WebGIS Database

This thesis compared the performance of Oracle、PostgreSQL、Xindice comprehensive with the time of inserting and querying as the standard through the retrieval of xml data in seven kinds of records. Then put forward the database Xindice, suitable for WebGIS database which requires efficient retrieval by analyzing and comparing the performance of Oralce、PostgreSQL、Xindice in seven kinds of records.
