Clinical experience of treatment of coil embolization on varicocele

Objective To observe the curative effect of coil embolism treatment on varicocele.Methods Sixteen cases of varicocele were treated by transcatheter coil embolization;the curative effect of coil embolization treatment on varicocele were analyzed.Results After the treatment,the symptoms of varicocele(scrotum content contracted and gas pain lessened)relieved,and the quality of the semem was improved in all 16 patients.No serious complication occured.Conclusion Transcatheter coil embolization is an easy and economy way to treat varicocele.
