Research on an Improved Sorting Method for Radar Signal

In this paper an improved signal sorting method based on the probability statistics and the analysis and extraction of information stream is introduced and its application in radar signal sorting is mainly discussed. A synthetical soring method for special radar signals is described. The feasibility of this method is verified through lots of experiments. First a mathematical model and associated theory of the signal sorting system are studied to verify the the feasibility of this system. Signal sampling, buffering, filtering and other logic circuits are realized by designing the hardware circuits. The system performance is improved by the improvement of software algorithm. This signal sorting system can process various radar signals including normal signal, staggered PRI signal, frequency-agile signal, dither signal, frequency-agile signal with staggered PRI signal, frequency-agile signal with dither signal.
