Study on Multi-Hierarchical Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation of Intrusion Detection System

On the basis of analyzing some existing assessment approaches of Intrusion Detection Systems(IDS),a(multi-hiera-)(rchical) fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was presented to provide accurate evaluation for IDS as much as possible.Through introducing the concept of the ordered fuzzy evaluation tree,a fuzzy computing algorithm was provided to illustrate how to set up such kind of evaluation model after developing the evaluation indicator system.Finally,the limits of the model were analyzed and some suggestions were given as well.
