Study on Multi-S Integration Application in Engineering Exploration Information System

Development of large scale engineering exploration information syste m needs support of many modern hi-tech systems, such as database system, geogra p hic information system, computer-aided design system, remote sensing system, g lo be positioning system and expert system. Implementation of multi-S integratio n i s key to improve the importance of the information system. Based on the prac tice , it is indicated in this paper that system integration includs data integr ation and operation integration, and it also puts forward and compares middle f ile mo del, COM-based mode and system platform mode, etc. With examples it has been ex plained that developer could select different system integration level a nd diffe rent integration mode according to different case under the instruction of theor y of point-source information system.
