Application of stored procedures and trigger to development of database system

Both stored-procedure and trigger are a segment of executable code in the database.It can be called by an application process.Using the trigger the application system can perform a complex rule check and using the stored-procedure the design of the application system can be divided into two sections-the foreground program and the background one.That can reduce the complexity of the system design.The methods of creating a stored procedure and a trigger and the ways of calling a stored procedure in VB and ASP are described.
