Experiences and enlightenment of foreign water resources planning and management

According to the present situation and the existing problems of basin water resources planning and management in China,the paper summarizes the basin water resources management experience in foreign countries,puts forward speeding up the basin management legislation and management mechanisms policy,establishes and improves the information sharing mechanism and water information network system and builds the water resources management mode with meeting the China's national conditions following the principle of basin planning and management.
