Research of area measurement algorithm based on GPS

To improve the precision of area measurement of land,based on Gauss projection,this paper used the multiple location averaged method and the PauTa criterion to improve the precision of point positioning in ground investigation,used the trace mathod and route method to calculate the area of regular rigion and used the trace method and the intrpolation method to calculate the area of irregular region.It proved that the route method could improve the precision of area measurement for regular region and the interpolation method could improve the accuracy of area measurement for irregular region.
