Lyapunov exponent recognition for the fault signal of mechanical equipment

In this paper,the author reseached the Lyapunov exponent of the fault signal,and discussed the arithmetic of the exponent and used the arithmetic to calculate the typical attractor,also used it to judge whether the system is in the chaotic state and whether using chaos arithmetic to research the equipment.The vibration signal of the water flooding pump is studied and the conclusion is obtained that the system is not in the chaotic state if more than one-third Lyapunov exponents are negative.
