The software logic is usually divided into N tiers when deploying software applications. The application server provides the run-time container environment and infrastructure of accessing databases for the business logic tier, which should offer the core middleware services and strong security services for the application system. With the introduction of application server, the security issues of application server platform are studied via analyzing and comparing the leading application servers.
